The manufacturer claims that this supplement supports cardiovascular health, reduces the frequency of migraine headaches and associated nausea and vomiting when taken as a prophylactic and is an antioxidant for the maintenance of good health. The manufacturer states that this supplement is important if you take certain medications that deplete CoQ10 (ie statins), and that it also replenishes CoQ10 levels that naturally decline with age. Ingredients
Coenzyme Q10 (100mg) is the only active ingredient in this supplement. Secondary ingredients include rice bran oil, and natural tocopherols. The softgel capsule is composed of gelatin which the manufacturer says originates from bovine (beef) sources, and glycerin and therefore not suitable for vegetarians. Missing from this supplement is the important ingredient Bioperine (black pepper extract) which is found in many other brands and can help with the absorption of CoQ10.

Among the things that we liked about Webber Naturals CoQ10 are that the supplement is priced quite reasonably with clear directions for use, and comes in an easy to swallow gel cap format. We do have a number of negative comments however. The supplement only contains 100mg of CoQ10 which is under half the amount that is recommended by other brands who include 250mg per daily dose. With the absence of Bioperine from the list of ingredients we are concerned that this will adversely affect the absorption of the CoQ10. Many other brands include Bioperine as a key ingredient. The ingredients list indicates that the the product contains binders, and fillers. There is no indication that the product is free from preservatives, artificial ingredients, or that it was manufactured in an FDA approved facility. The product is not suitable for vegetarians nor vegans since it contains animal sourced gelatin and glycerin as an ingredient. Sorely lacking from this manufacturer is a guarantee and return policy. There were no reviews when we checked on Amazon which we always look for as an indication of widespread popularity or lack thereof of a product. We suggest avoiding any product that lacks a decent return policy, and lacks the key ingredient, Bioperine.
